Dr. Malachie Manaouda welcomed the commitment of the partners, recalling that the success of these agreements will depend on rigorous implementation and concrete results.
On Friday, July 17, 2026, the Minister of Public Health signed three agreements with national partners, with the aim of strengthening the health system and improving access to quality care for the population.
This initiative reflects the Government’s commitment to mobilizing more stakeholders around the country’s health priorities. The three agreements cover complementary and strategic areas for the Cameroonian health system.
The first agreement, concluded with the Lions Club Foundation, aims to strengthen the management of diabetes and hypertension, two chronic diseases that are rapidly increasing in Cameroon. The second, signed with the Center for Research and Integrated Health Systems Strengthening Foundation, will focus on several essential components of the healthcare system: medical biology, the transport of biological samples, the management of biomedical waste, and the distribution of medical supplies. The third agreement, established with Daddy’s Foundation, aims to improve access to healthcare services for the most vulnerable populations, in line with the objectives of Universal Health Coverage.
Speaking after the ceremony, the three partners expressed their gratitude to the Government and the Minister of Public Health for the trust placed in them. They
reaffirmed their commitment to serving with dedication, responsibility, and compassion.
In turn, Dr. Malachie Manaouda welcomed the willingness of the three organizations and reiterated that these agreements mark the beginning of a collective commitment. Their success, he emphasized, will depend on the rigorous implementation of the projects and on concrete results that benefit the Cameroonian people.
