At the heart of immediate concerns are recurrent delays in drug supply, a complex situation at the origin of stock shortages detrimental to patients. Added to this major challenge are insufficient human resources, an overall deficit in cutting-edge equipment, as well as repetitive breakdowns of essential medical devices. These bottlenecks slow down the fluidity of care and today demand a profound re-engineering of the management model.
To sustainably reverse the trend, a rigorous roadmap was outlined during the discussions. The strategy rests first on the establishment of predictive planning of logistical flows in order to definitively eradicate pharmacy shortages. In parallel, emphasis will be placed on the introduction of a systematic preventive maintenance protocol to anticipate technical failures of the technical platform. Finally, a targeted reinforcement plan for medical staff will support an overall optimisation of the internal organisation of services.
